FLAN
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 can (12 oz) of Carnation sweetened condensed milk
1 can (14 oz.) of Carnation evaporated milk
1 can (14 oz.) regular milk (just pour into largest can of evaporated or sweetened condensed milk
vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
In a blender, crack open eggs and pour into blender. Pour in evaporated milk, sweetend condensed milk, and regular milk into blender. Add dash of vanilla. Blend until smooth and well-mixed. Stop occasionally to scrape sides if necessary
In a large saucepan, melt sugar until it becomes caramelized.
This is really up to you whether you want to use a pie pan, a small glass baking pan, or small glass bowl. But anyways:
Pour the caramalized sugar into your container and spread evenly by tilting container. Do NOT touch the caramalized sugar. It will burn and hurt like hell.
Pour the flan mixture into container.
Take a large baking pan and fill the bottom with water. Place container holding flan inside the larger pan and place in the oven.
Bake for about 40 minutes or until top is a golden brown. Take a knife and poke the center. If the knife comes out clean, it is done.
Remove from oven and let cool on cooling rack.
